WHAT IS A HACKATHON?

a space for students to work in a team to create a project that addresses a worldwide issue

a chance for students to learn valuable skills in workshops + from tech experts

an opportunity to meet like-minded people and mentors!

DO I NEED A TEAM TO SIGN UP?

if you already have a team (maximum of four members), great! remember to tell your team members to sign up, too!

if you don't have a team, don't worry. we will find you a team at the hackathon :)

design is the backbone of computer science, and applying it is critically important for almost every industry. there are countless projects, apps, websites, and brandings, but the project's design is what truly sets them apart.

we haven't seen a hackathon dedicated to design, so we wanted to host our own!

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CODE?

this is a beginner-friendly hackathon! no prior skill in coding is necessary.

there will also be awards for beginner programmers!

remember: this is a place for you to learn and make mistakes! do not worry :)
we're still working out the details, so this is be subject to change! we'll update this list ASAP.
